Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Services

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) utilizes numerical methods and data structures to analyze and solve problems that involve fluid flow, heat transfer and mass transfer. Due to the development of efficient numerical schemes, powerful software packages and advancement in computing power, CFD analysis is widely applied in a variety of industries.

CFD is an alternative to reduce the number of physical tests performed in the design process. Powerful CFD software is sought out for three reasons. First, it can be implemented early for quick assessment of design variations. Second, it allows designers to examine any location in the region of interest. Third, it is more cost effective than experiments to get essential engineering data.

In addition to the points above, many flows and heat transfer processes cannot be easily tested experimentally. In theses situations, fluid dynamics software is the only solution for designers.

Single phase flow CFD

Single-Phase Flow

The flow of a single fluid as a gas or liquid is observed in plenty of applications, e.g., the movement of air over airplanes & cars, and water through pipes & junctions.

Multiphase flow CFD analysis

Multi-Phase Flow

The motion of gas bubbles in a liquid, and oil drops in water are examples of multiphase flows where two or more fluids are separated by distinct interfaces.

CFD Non-Newtonian Fluid FLow Computational Fluid Dynamics

Non-Newtonian Fluid Flow

The non-Newtonian fluids are those with inconstant viscosity either under force or over time, e.g., toothpaste, egg white, and ketchup.

Flow in Porous Media

Flow in Porous Media

Any material containing void spaces such as rocks and soil, or any objects with very fine gaps such as radiators and grills are considered as porous zones.

Aeroacoustics analysis

Aeroacoustics

Aeroacoustics is a branch of acoustics that studies noise generation via either turbulent flows or aerodynamic forces interacting with surfaces.

Heat and mass transfer CFD

Heat and Mass Transfer

The transport of heat or mass from one point to another through a medium is one of the main subjects of transport phenomena.
