Did you know ENA2 offers API 579 (Fitness-for-Service) Level 3?

API 579 (Fitness-For-Service) is an analysis of pressurized equipment to ensure that they are performing up to efficiency and safety standards. There are three levels of assessment including: level 1, level 2, and level 3. ENA2 is able to perform a comprehensive assessment which covers all three. Through ANSYS/ABAQUS and extensive analysis, level 3 provides a solution to any problems that were flagged in level 1 and 2. Fitness-for-Service is extremely important in regular maintenance as it can save time and money during critical outages as well as prevent shutdowns. This comprehensive assessment covers many problem areas including:

  • brittle fracture
  • fatigue
  • general metal loss
  • local metal loss
  • pitting corrosion
  • blisters and lamination
  • weld misalignment and shell distortion
  • crack-like flaws
  • creep damage
  • fire damage
