Non-Newtonian Fluid Flows Analysis
Non-Newtonian fluid flows are those with inconstant viscosity either under force or over time, e.g., toothpaste, egg white, and ketchup. To perform CFD analysis on blood flow in veins, polymer flows in enhanced oil recovery, some nanofluid flows, and lubrication by the use of drilling muds, the type of fluid is non-Newtonian. Therefore, a different set of equations that incorporates viscosity models must be solved by CFD solvers to predict the fluid motion.
The CFD solvers applied by our experts in ENA2 contain multiple viscosity models to well predict the characteristics of the flow and to provide reliable solutions to our customers using Dassault systemes software suite.
