Description: The Fitness-for-Service (FFS) Level 3 Assessment Advanced Course offers a comprehensive exploration of high-level API 579 methodologies for evaluating structural integrity under complex defect scenarios. This course delves into advanced finite element analysis (FEA)-based assessments for crack-like flaws, general metal loss, dents, and gauges, integrating material properties, historical inspection data, and real-world degradation mechanisms. Building upon Level 1 and Level 2 calculation frameworks, participants will develop expertise in nonlinear analysis, stress redistribution effects, and localized failure mechanisms, ensuring accurate life assessments and critical engineering decision-making.
