Kevin Yuen, MSc, P.Eng.
A structural engineer with expertise in designing with steel, concrete, wood, cold-formed steel, aluminum, and custom-building materials. Specializes in non-linear static and dynamic finite element analysis (FEA) across civil/structural, mechanical, energy, and product development sectors. Proficient in Abaqus, Dlubal RFEM, and RISA 3D. Certified as an Abaqus Instructor and SIMULIA Technical Support Provider. Key analytical experiences include: pre-engineered modular building analysis and design in Canada and US; electrical and mechanical skid packages including lifting lug analysis; train pipe impact analysis; vessel thermal cyclic loading analysis; and dynamic analysis of fan cooler structures. Also experienced in thermal stress analysis and contact modeling.

Navid Mortazavi, Ph.D
A Mechanical Engineering PhD specializing in Fracture Mechanics, Fatigue, and in-house Finite Element (FE) modeling. Proficient in Abaqus Standard Implicit and MATLAB. Expertise includes Abaqus-based Fitness for Service (FFS) Assessments of pressure vessels under denting and corrosion based on API 579 standards. Certified in FFS and Abaqus by 3DS. Specializes in Linear Elastic Fracture Mechanics (LEFM) & Elastic Plastic Fracture Mechanics (EPFM) and Fatigue Analysis. Skilled in scripting in Abaqus and MATLAB to develop in-house FE models for determining J-integral and Cyclic J-integral for crack characterization. Certified trainer for 3DS programs: Advanced Fitness-for-Service, Advanced Fracture Mechanics, Abaqus Scripting, and Fatigue Analysis with fe-safe.

Bharath K. S., PH.D, P.Eng.
Specialized in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), holding a PhD in Environmental Fluid Dynamics. Expertise includes computational turbulence flow, multiphase flow, non-Newtonian flow, reactive flow, fluid-structure interactions, and heat and mass transfer analysis for industrial applications. Proficient in tools such as Ansys Fluent, Star CCM+, and AFT – Impulse, along with programming languages like PYTHON, MATLAB, and C++. Experience covers CFD analysis for exhaust stack silencers, blowdown silencers, oil treaters, and CFD-based vortex shedding analyses of thermal wells; evaluation of flow-induced vibration in duct and plenum systems. Additional capabilities include Discrete Element Method (DEM) analyses and pipeline transient analyses for water hammering, surge, and cavitation.

Proficient in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), with expertise in Abaqus Standard Implicit, LS-DYNA, Optistruct, and Hypermesh. This includes both implicit and explicit analysis, grounded in strong fundamentals of structural mechanics and FEA. Specialized areas include Fitness for Service (FFS) Assessments, evaluating pressure vessels based on API 579 standards and performing corrosion assessments, supported by a 3Ds Certification in Fitness for Service. Experience extends to conducting FEA for handling structural and frequency analysis projects, and performing crash and safety analyses for vehicle programs against standards such as FMVSS, IIHS, USNCAP, and JNCAP. Further capabilities include optimization, DOE, and stochastic studies utilizing Hyperstudy and Optistruct.
