Single phase is the flow of a single fluid as a gas or liquid is observed in plenty of applications, e.g., the movement of air over airplanes & cars, and water through pipes & junctions. Currently, computational fluid dynamics is widely used to find solutions for problems arise from the flow of single fluid in a domain.
To calculate the valve flow coefficient, lift and drag coefficients for flows over airplanes, drones & cars, wind load on structures, pressure drop in pipes and valves, water hammer in pipes and air motion in HVAC systems the single-phase flow simulation is performed.
